The 300 Challenge

Here’s something to finish the year off with a bang.

Warning this is not for the faint hearted
The famous 300 challenge is the ultimate test for muscle strength and endurance
We will being running timed session from the 30 November through to the 4th December in order to find Fitness Canterbury’s men’s and women’s 300 champion.

Let us know at reception if you would like to have a go and we will book you in with a time.

Keep an eye on the wall television in the cardio room for more information, including training tips to get you ready for the challenge. You’ve got a little over 7 weeks to prepare!
The Challenge is timed and involves the following exercise in order, with strict technique

Men
25 unassisted Chin Ups
50 Dead lift – 60kg
50 Press Up
50 Box Jumps 24inch platform
50 Floor Wipers with 60kg Barbell
50 Kettle bell Clean and Press – 16kg
25 unassisted Chin ups

Women
25 assisted Chin Ups – ½ current body weight
50 Dead lift – 40kg
50 Press Ups
50 Box Jumps 24inch platform
50 Floor Wipers with 40kg Barbell
50 Kettle bell Clean and Press – 8kg
25 assisted Chin Ups – ½ current body weight
