Curried Lentil Dahl

A clean take on an Indian Favorite!


  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. minced chili
  • 2 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 tsp. turmeric
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tin lentils, rinsed and drained
  • 1-2 Tbsp fresh coriander

Method

1. Heat oil in a large fry pan, add onion & garlic. Add in a bay leaf, mustard and spices and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

2. Tip in lentils and stir through, turn down the heat and cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is warmed through.

3. Serve on rice, pita bread or with a salad and sprinkle coriander on top.
